The Packeteer Certified Professional Program

Packeteer currently offers two levels of certification, Packeteer Certified Specialist (PCS) and Packeteer Certified Expert (PCE). These are awarded by passing on-line exams which are taken at an approved Prometric testing centre.

However, please be aware that Packeteer recommended that preparation before taking any test should include  experience with the PacketShaper outside of a training course: 

• PCS - completion of the Packeteer Specialist Level 1 course, plus some hands-on experience

• PCE - completion of both the Specialist Level I and the Advanced Traffic Analysis & Troubleshooting course, plus a number of complex installations and configuration.
